Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully. You will be required to sign a form indicating your understanding upon arrival.
Rental Unit (lodges & cabins) and Campsite (RVs & tents) rates are for 2 guests. Additional charges will apply for more then 2 guests, 3 years of age and under are free. Maximum of 6 guests per rental unit/campsite. Maximum of 2 four man tents per campsite.
2 day minimum stay on all weekends (Friday & Saturday), 3 day minimum stay on all holiday weekends (Friday to Monday). We can not accept reservations commencing on a Saturday or holiday Sunday. No minimum stay requirements for weekdays.
Although we will attempt to honor your chosen rental unit/campsite, there are times when this will not be possible. Wherever possible, we will attempt to notify you of your rental unit/campsite change before your arrival. Should a rental unit/campsite change be necessary, we will guarantee the same rental unit/campsite type equivalent or better. If we are unable to provide the above, a full refund will be issued. **Rates for reservations are subject to change, when possible a notice will be sent.** We will not take bookings from individuals under 18 years of age. Individuals under the age of 25 are subject to a $200 security deposit unless authorized by a manager prior to arrival. This amount may be made by cash or by a pre-authorization on a major credit card. This will be placed on the same card used for your holiday booking. Please make arrangements with our reservation team if you want a different card used. Notice to All Guests. Any damage to Lilac Resort property or compensation made to other guests will be assessed and charged accordingly to your account. An extra charge will be added to your credit card for any rental unit or site needing excessive cleaning. Once the rental unit/site has been inspected and found to be in the same condition as arrival, cash deposits will be returned or credit card information will be released. Lilac Resort reserves the right to terminate a booked holiday if any stated rules are in violation. No refunds will be issued.
Payments & Deposits
Full payment or 50% minimum deposit required at the time you make your reservation. Payments may be made by cash, debit card, e-transfer, Visa or Master Card. Please do not send cash by mail. We will only accept cheques and money orders for reservations made at least 30 days prior to your date of arrival and providing the entire reservation rate is received for processing no later than 10 days from the date that the reservation was made (when this method of payment is used, the reservation will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed). Minimum deposits may only be made by Visa or Master Card. Reservations made online: A non-refundable reservation fee will be applied to your reservation and the full balance is due immediately by Visa or MasterCard to confirm your reservation. Reservations made by phone or in person: One Night Stay: Full payment is due immediately to confirm your reservation. Two Night Stay or more: You may pay in full or confirm your reservation by paying 50% minimum deposit by Visa or MasterCard. *If there is a balance owing, it will be automatically processed 30 days prior to the arrival date using the same credit card information used for the deposit. Please make arrangements with our reservation team if you want a different card used. Once your deposit or payment is processed you will receive an email or post mail confirmation.
All refunds, changes or transfers are subject to a $15.00 service charge. There will be no refund for anyone being evicted or for days lost through early departure or late arrival. Rental Units: No refund will be given unless date chances or cancellations are received at least 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Campsites: No refund will be given unless date changes or cancellations are received at least 48 hours prior to scheduled 3:00 pm check in time.
Arrivals & Departures
Check in time for rental units/campsites is 3:00 pm. Please have only one member of your party check your group in. Early check-ins will not be permitted, however if you wish to arrive earlier and pay to use the recreational facilities you may do so at a reduced rate. Check out time for all rental units is at 11:00 am. Lodge and Cabin guest may continue to use the recreational facilities until 2:00 pm. Check out time for all Campsites is at 2:00 pm. A full day’s rate will be applied to late check outs. Please be courteous to arriving guests and vacate your unit or campsite on time. If you would like to continue using the recreational facilities beyond 2:00 pm, activity bracelets are available at a special reduced rate.
Changes After Check In
We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to your rental unit/campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable rental unit/site is available. Service charge fees will not apply. Availability may be limited.
Late Arrivals & No-Shows
If you are not going to be able to arrive at the resort on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact the resort office. If you do not arrive at the resort by 11:00 am on the day after your scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the resort office to inform them of your late arrival, you will be deemed a No-Show. When you are deemed a No-Show, your reservation will be cancelled with no refund and your rental unit/campsite will be made available to other guests.
A Rental Security Deposit is required at time of check in to protect Lilac Resort’s property and the enjoyment of other guests. Lilac Resort is a family park, and while enjoyment is encouraged, discretion and moderation are required by all patrons to ensure that everyone has a fun, safe and enjoyable vacation. The Rental Security is held in preauthorization pattern on your credit card during your holiday. It should never appear on your statement unless detailed in the following circumstances. Rental Unit Guests: A preauthorized $400 damage & noise disturbance deposit will be processed at check in. You are responsible to ensure that your rental unit is left in the same shape as when you arrived. Any damaged or lost items (i.e. remote controls, pillows, towels, dishes & cutlery) and/or noise disturbance complaints from neighboring guests will be assessed and charged accordingly. Extra charges will be added for any rental unit needing excessive cleaning. Once the Rental Unit has been inspected and found to be in the same condition as arrival, the credit card information will be released. Campsite Guests: A preauthorized $200 damage & noise disturbance deposit will be processed at check in. You are responsible to ensure that your campsite is left in the same shape as when you arrived: tidy, clean and all garbage removed. Any damaged or missing items (i.e. picnic tables, fire pit, site signs, trees & underbrush) and/or noise disturbance complaints from neighboring guests will be assessed and charged accordingly. Extra charges will be added for any campsite needing excessive cleaning. Once the campsite has been inspected and found to be in the same condition as arrival, the credit card information will be released. If your holiday was paid in full at the time you made your reservation by cash, debit card, cheque or money order, a $400.00 (Rental Unit) or $200.00 (Campsite) cash deposit will be required at check in time. Once the rental unit and/or campsite has been inspected and found to be in the same condition as arrival, the cash deposit will be returned.
Pets & Camping
Pets are welcome on your campsite as long as they are leashed at all times and their owners are responsible to ensure waste is picked up. No pets allowed in the pool area or campground buildings. Please don’t let your pets disturb other guests. Aggressive or chronically barking dogs will be dealt with promptly. Guests who can not prevent their dogs from disturbing others or dogs that the Management deems as dangerous to the wellbeing of other Guests will be asked to remove their pets from the Resort immediately.
Pets, Smoking & Rental Units
No pets or smoking allowed in the rental units. If a pet or smoking is evident in any of the rental units an automatic $200.00 pet/smoking related clean up fee will be applied to your account.
Children & Youth
Lilac Resort is a Family Resort which welcomes children of all ages. Children and youth under the age of 18 are permitted on property with adequate adult supervision only. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all the recreational facilities. Lilac Resort has a curfew; all children and youth under the age of 18 must be at their designated rental unit/campsite or be accompanied by an adult after 11:00 pm. Those in violation of this rule will be returned to the care of the adults in charge of supervision.
Instruct your visitors to register at the resort office and inform them that visitors must purchase an Activity Pass or Picnic/Main Stage Pass before proceeding to your rental unit/campsite. The purchase of a Lilac Club Card is not required when visiting a registered rental unit/campsite guest. Visitors in violation of this rule will be asked to leave the Resort. All visitors are subject to the rules and regulations of the Resort. The registered rental unit/campsite guest will be held responsible and accountable for the actions of their visitors.
Must be worn around the wrist at all times. Failure to display an appropriate bracelet may result in loss of privileges or your eviction from the Resort. DO NOT LOSE YOUR BRACELET! If you do, you will have to purchase a new one. Bracelets are to be renewed or purchased at the office (with the exception of weekends) prior to 2:00 pm each day. When renewing, have your receipt with you.
Security Guard shifts will begin at 8:00 pm. and they will stay on duty until the early hours of the morning. If you witness suspicious behaviour or would like their assistance, please call the security office (located at the front entrance gate) at (204) 422-4054. We ask that you please respect the Guards; disrespect towards them will not be tolerated. If you have a complaint regarding Security Guards, please notify Management at the Resort office.
Entrance gate will be closed from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am. Only registered guests will be allowed to enter with their vehicles after 8:00 pm and those entering must sign in with the security guard. Visitors arriving after 8:00 pm must park outside the gates (exceptions will be made for visitors with disabilities). Please Note: Guards go on patrol, if you find there is no guard at the gate, please wait or park outside of the gated area (DO NOT RAISE THE GATE OR HONK YOUR HORN). Visitors will not be allowed into the Resort after 11:00 pm. Exit gate opens automatically upon detection of a vehicle.
Amenities / Facilities
Please remember that all amenities are on a seasonal, weather dependent schedule. The entertainment/activities, pools/waterslides, and concessions/store are on a full schedule throughout July/August. Limited hours of operation of facilities and services are available in the spring and fall. We reserve the right to close any facilities due to weather conditions or for Health and Safety reasons without prior notice.
Water Park Rules are available online and in print form at the office. Read and obey all posted signs and obey instructions given by the pool staff. Disregard for rules, staff or others will result in your removal.
Entertainment / Movies
Wednesday night movies and weekend entertainment throughout July and August. Visit our website or get the summer line up from the office. Bracelets must be worn to attend.
Rules & Regulations
- No more than 6 persons allowed in a rental unit/campsite, unless authorized by a manager.
- No additional guests except those listed on your reservation can occupy the rental unit/campsite.
- 2 vehicles allowed per rental unit/campsite, car passes must be displayed in front window.
- Speed limit 20 km/hr. throughout the Resort. Obey all traffic signs. Joyriding in the Resort is prohibited. Dangerous drivers will be charged & evicted.
- Golf Carts and ATVs are allowed providing the operator is at least 16 years of age, holds a valid driver’s license and abides to the rules of the road. No dirt bikes or pocket quads. No joyriding in the Resort. ATVs and Golf Carts if used after dusk must be equipped with adequate lighting. From 11:00 pm to 8:00 am ATVs and gas powered golf carts are to be parked. From 11:00 pm to 8:00 am ATVs and gas powered Golf Carts are to be parked.
- Bike riders, as well as auto drivers, must yield right of way to pedestrians. Bicycles must be parked in stands provided and should never block or impede or prevent easy access to the pools, office or washrooms.
- Garbage must be bagged and deposited in garbage barrels. No garbage in fire rings.
- Camp fires to be made in fire rings only. Rings are not to be moved unless authorized by a manager or office staff.
- Defacing trees is prohibited. No cutting of saplings for wiener roasts. No power saws.
- Loud music and/or vulgar language will not be tolerated at any time.
- No excessive noise between the hours of 11:00 pm and 8:00 am. After 11:00 pm keep radios and voices down. Security guards or management may at their own discretion ask to have radios turned off. Those in violation will be fined or asked to leave the park.
- Alcohol is permitted on the grounds providing guests are of age and drink responsibly. Non compliance may result in your eviction from the Resort.
- Disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated at any time.
- Glass containers are not permitted in the Water Park.
- Firecrackers & Fireworks are strictly forbidden.
- The property adjoining the resort is privately owned. Please do not cross fences.
Notice to all guests: Any damage to Lilac Resort property or compensation made to other guests due to noise disturbance will be assessed and charged accordingly to your account. An extra charge will be added for any rental unit/campsite needing excessive cleaning. Once the rental unit/campsite has been inspected and found to be in the same condition as arrival, cash deposits will be returned or credit card information will be released. **Lilac Resort reserves the right to terminate a booked holiday if any stated rules are in violation. No refunds will be issued. This property is privately owned. While visiting the Resort you are responsible for abiding by all Resort rules and regulations. Non compliance may result in your eviction from the Resort. Should this happen no refunds will be issued. Under no circumstances will Lilac Resort Ltd. be liable for any loss or damage to any of our guest’s personal property, including their vehicles, jewelry, personal effects or any other valuables including currency. Parents are responsible for the care and actions of their children at all times.
Assumption of Risks
BE AWARE THAT THE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES, POOLS, HOT TUBS, WATERSLIDES, PADDLEBOATS, BIKE RIDING, ETC., INVOLVES MANY INHERENT RISKS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS, EQUIPMENT FAILURE, COLLISION WITH OBJECTS/PEOPLE AND FAILURE TO USE FACILITIES IN A SAFE AND PRUDENT MANNER, WITHIN ONES ABILITIES, MAY CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH. ALL GUESTS AND VISITORS USING LILAC RESORT FACILITIES DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. THE MANAGEMENT TEAM
