How can I contact the resort?
When is the resort open?
The Lilac Resort operates on a seasonal schedule April 15 to October 15 of each year. The Tiki Bar and hot tubs open May Long Weekend. The Water Park opens the first weekend of June and closes the end of the September Long Weekend. The Water Park, Resort Campground and Rental Lodges may open later or close sooner then the dates stipulated due to COVID, weather and Resort road conditions. During the month of April and early May, site services such as water may not be in operation. Please see our Hours of Operation page for more information.
What are your hours of operation?
The Office is open daily from 8am until 10pm throughout the months of June, July and August. During the rest of the year we have reduced office hours but will always answer emails and return phone messages promptly.
The Water Park is open starting the first weekend of June through September Long Weekend. Hours are 9am until 10pm daily for all guests. Guests must be 13 years or older to remain in the Water Park without a parent or guardian. All times posted are weather permitting.
The Tiki Juice Bar and Hot Tubs are open May Long Weekend through to mid September. Open until Midnight weather permitting.

What is the minimum age required to reserve at the Resort?
I’m under the age of 18. Can my parents drop me off with my friends so that we can use the Water Park for the day?
I’m under the age of 25. Why do I need a $200 damage deposit when booking a site at the Resort?
How do I get to Lilac Resort?
Directions from STEINBACH: Head north on HWY #12. Take the East exit for HWY #1, Kenora. Follow the HWY until you see Lilac on the right hand side.
Directions from KENORA: Head northwest on Second Street South, toward Matheson Street South. Take 2nd right onto Main Street South. Continue onto King’s HWY #17/ Lakeview Drive. Continue to follow King’s Hwy #17. Turn left to stay on King’s HWY #17, entering Manitoba. Continue on Trans Canada HWY #1, for approximately 109 km. Turn left on Lilac Road.
What temperature are your pools/hot tubs heated to?
All of our pools are heated to 72°F
Kids hot tubs are heated to 98°F
Adult & Teen hot tubs are heated to 102°F
How deep are your pools?
Kiddie Pool is a beach style entrance and goes to 1ft deep.
Activity Pool shallow end is 2ft deep and deep end is 3ft deep.
Slide Pool shallow end is 3ft deep and middle of pool is 4.5ft deep.
Camping & Lodging
What time is check in/out?
Check Out for Lodging Units is 11am, but guests may use the facilities until 2pm.
Check Out for RV and Tent Sites is 2pm.
**Late check outs will be charged a full day’s rate**
Is use of the amenities and entertainment included or do I have to pay extra?
Do we need to bring coins with us to the shower and pay to use them?
Can I bring my own Fire Wood?
• Do not move firewood over distances, purchase your firewood locally, and burn it where you buy it.
• Don’t bring ash and elm wood to our provincial parks.

I am traveling from the United States, what documentation do I require at the border?
I am staying in a Lodging Unit, what am I required to bring?
Each Deluxe Cabin or Lodge comes fully equipped with all kitchen items, satellite TV, deck, patio furniture, BBQ, fire pit, coffee maker, microwave, bar fridge, AC, pillows, linens, blankets and bathroom linens.
You will need to travel with your own pool towels, toiletries, food, and a desire to have FUN!
Why do I need a $400 damage deposit when renting a Lodging Unit?
How can I book my holiday?
Our reservation team works 7 days a week 8am to 10pm daily, with reduced hours throughout September, October, November, December, January, February, March and April.
We require 100% deposit at time of booking via Visa or MasterCard.
Does my seasonal site, lodging unit or camp site have telephone/internet access?
We have free wireless internet access available around our Tiki Bar, Water Park and Main Stage. Lodge and Cabin guests are provided with Wifi in their units.
